T-Mobile users take to Reddit to complain about 'Tuesdays' campaign

T-Mobile is once again hearing users complain about its T-Mobile Tuesdays campaign, and this time it has nothing to do with overwhelming demand.

Some customers of the nation's third-largest carrier took to Reddit this week to complain that the latest promotional offerings aren't on par with previous giveaways. T-Mobile this week added zero-rated data for users playing Pokémon Go, enabling them to chase the virtual characters without taking a toll on their monthly data allotments.

But that wasn't enough to keep some users happy.

"I feel like I'm getting less excited week over week than I'm intended to be," one customer griped on Reddit. "You know, I didn't think this week's T-Mobile Tuesday could be beaten in suckitude, and yet here we are," wrote another.

T-Mobile launched the weekly rewards campaign last month, and the promotion has had some notable glitches. As DSL Reports noted, congested servers prevented some customers from accessing the T-Mobile Tuesdays app during the campaign's first week, and overwhelming demand for free pizzas forced Domino's to drop out of the program in its second week. And the carrier has continued to struggle with congested servers as customers look to redeem their goodies.

T-Mobile executives have said they regularly change offerings through the campaign in an effort to meet the demands of a wide variety of customers. And CEO John Legere said last month that the operator was continuing to iron out the wrinkles in the carrier's eleventh uncarrier campaign.

"The app's really going well now. Took us a couple of weeks; we're getting it done, but we're taking care of everybody," Legere said in a video posted on Facebook June 29. "I have so many different additions to T-Mobile Tuesday coming up every week and you're going to love it."
